Dig in to the history of a legend with BOOM! Studios’ “WWE: Undertaker”

Dig in to the history of a legend with BOOM! Studios’ “WWE: Undertaker”

In professional sports, there are some names that are just synonymous with each respective game.  Even if you’ve never seen a game or watched a single match in your life, everybody knows names like Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Muhammad Ali, Babe Ruth, and Venus and Serena Williams.  Wrestling has its own famous names, with characters like Hulk Hogan, the Rock, Andre the Giant, “Macho Man” Randy Savage... and the Undertaker.

The Undertaker is noteworthy for multiple reasons: he has a unique, incredibly creepy aesthetic, giving him an air of mystery in a sport that is typically more bombastic than reserved; he has one of the best records in wrestling, with a 21-year winning streak that was only recently broken; and aside from professional wrestling, he is adept at Brazilian jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts.

To help shed a light on the past of this mysterious figure, BOOM! Studios will release an Original graphic novel detailing the early days of the Undertaker.  With a scheduled release on Halloween, pick this up for some spooky comics fun, and check out a first look below.
