Watch as “The Kaiser Falls” in Victor Santos’ final “Polar” series from Dark Horse

Retired life for a former assassin or spy can’t be easy.  I wouldn’t know, of course, but if popular fiction has taught us anything, it’s always the same: former special ops agent settles down in a small, nondescript location, enjoys the mundane pleasure of “normal” life... and inevitably gets drawn back into the world of espionage, whether they like it or not.

Especially if not.

For Victor Santos’ final story in his popular Polar series, that’s exactly what happens with his protagonist, Black Kaiser: Kaiser settles down and puts his life as a spy behind him, only to find out that a rookie assassin has come to challenge him in a contest of skills.

Oh, and his own housemaid runs afoul of a local gang.  As one does.

Check out the details about the final Polar story below, as well as information about an upcoming Netflix film adaptation of the series.
