Image Comics cook up a culinary mystery with the “Flavor” trade paperback collection
I don’t know what it is, but I love media about food and the culinary arts. Everyone needs to eat, so we all have at least some appreciation for delicious meals and tasty treats, but there’s just something about cooking shows and stories that I find incredibly relaxing. That extends to the world of comics, too, as food-focused series like BOOM! Studios’ Brave Chef Brianna tell winning tales of courage and heroism while simultaneously celebrating humanity’s love of fine cooking.
This November, Image Comics will release a trade paperback collecting their own culinary-themed series Flavor, which mixes together cooking, fantasy, and mystery to craft a fine comics concoction. Check out the details below, and go ahead and grab a snack too, since you’re probably hungry now.
