“Devastation” comes for the X-Men in 2019

“Devastation” comes for the X-Men in 2019

In another cryptic and intriguing tease from Marvel, things aren’t looking great for the X-Men... mostly, that is.  Beginning with Uncanny X-Men #11, the creative team of Matthew Rosenberg and Salvador Larroca will drive the title, which is good news.  Less promising for the team, though, is the title “Devastation,” coupled with a grieving Cyclops among the wreckage and rubble of the Xavier Institute.  More details as we hear them, but after the events of yesterday’s Uncanny X-Men #1 followed by this teaser today, it doesn’t look like the Merry Mutants will be in clear waters any time soon.

But hey, Wolverine is in his classic brown duds, which is always cool.  That’s a top-five of all time costume right there.

Uncanny X-Men #11 will hit comic shops February 2019.
