Frank Miller signs exclusive five-book deal with DC Comics

DC Comics have some pretty great ambitions, as their new imprints and publishing initiatives prove.   From lines aimed at younger readers to more mature, creator-driven formats, DC are expanding their reach in the market to reach any and all demographics.  To capitalize on this, it's been announced that legendary creator Frank Miller has signed an exclusive five-book deal with the publisher.  Beginning with the forthcoming Superman: Year One, Miller will also write a young adult graphic novel focusing on Carrie Kelley of The Dark Knight Returns.

The announcement will be made official during tomorrow's livestream, but head over to Publishers Weekly for more details in the meantime.

UPDATE: DC have just released a first look at John Romita, Jr.'s interiors for Superman: Year One.  Check them out below.
