There are some big, landmark issues in comics this year.  In addition to the thousandth shipped issue of Action Comics coming out in a little over a week, Marvel's long-running The Amazing Spider-Man will reach its 800th issue in May.  The milestone issue has attracted an array of industry talent, as longtime writer Dan Slott is joined by artists Jim Cheung, Stuart Immonen, Humberto Ramos, and Giuseppe Camuncoli.  The inimitable Alex Ross will provide the cover, and Marvel have just revealed an absolutely gorgeous variant cover from industry legend John Romita, Sr. and Richard Isanove.  Check out the cover above, and the details of the issue below:
