DC Comics announce the next wave of Looney Tunes crossover comics

Last year, DC Comics launched an experiment that proved to pay off in spades by having some of their most popular characters cross over with the Looney Tunes.  From Martian Manhunter and Marvin the Martian crossing paths to Lobo teaming up with Wile E. Coyote to catch the Road Runner, the one-shots were highly ambitious and just as entertaining.  Amazingly enough, it also gave us what may have been the best Batman story of the past ten years, and I'm not even kidding.  Seriously, it was nominated for an Eisner.

Today, in an exclusive with The Hollywood Reporter, DC have announced a second wave of DC/Looney Tunes crossover comics.  Lex Luthor and Porky Pig is inspired, and the Harley Quinn and Gossamer team-up stems from a three-year-old variant cover gag, but it's the Joker and Daffy Duck that may take the cake.

Check out the full press release from DC Comics below, along with a first look at the covers for the specials, and head over to THR for more details.
