Penguin Random House announce Gina Gagliano as Publishing Director of new graphic novel imprint
If you've read a book before, there's a good chance it may have been published by Penguin Random House. They're one of the biggest publishers in the world, after all, and they hold the publishing rights to no end of popular series.
Yesterday, it was announced that they will be launching a new young readers graphic novel imprint in 2019. Branded Random House Graphic, the imprint will be spearheaded by Gina Gagliano, who has years in the publishing industry under her belt and has worked with countless authors in that time.
Head over to The Comics Beat for more info, including some nice quotes from Gagliano and a list of some of the graphic novels that PRH are currently publishing.
More publishers and imprints means more opportunities to get comics out there, and a line focused specifically on children and younger readers is nothing but good news. More as we hear it here at Comics Now.
