Ten or Less: May 9, 2018

Crazy week! Almost didn’t make it! But I’m betting a lot of you still haven’t been to the shop, and maybe this will still be helpful. So if you’re not rolling in Wayne money, and you’re not sure what to buy, grab a ten-dollar bill, head to your local comic book shop, and tell them you want:

The Despicable Deadpool #300 ($5.99)

It’s more than half of your budget, but it’s oversized, constantly hilarious, and you don’t need any experience with Deadpool—or comics, really—to find enjoyment here. Just maybe don’t eat anything while you’re reading it...

Isola #2 ($3.99)

Isola #1 was one of my top two or three books last month. #2 is as mysterious as the first, but also as fascinating and beautifully-rendered. I know we’re on a budget here, but this book is so good that you should probably just plan on spending $4 on this one every month.

Total: $9.98

Only two little pennies left this time, but trust me—these two books are absolute winners. And remember that Marvel books like Deadpool will net you a free digital copy when you buy the floppy, so that’s a little more financial mileage out of your tenner.

Be sure to let us know how we did, and if you think we missed a really good one, let us know that, too! Just hit us up on Twitter or at comicsnowcast@gmail.com.
