Monster hunting is a family business in Image Comics' upcoming "Bitter Root

Image Comics' upcoming series Bitter Root has a lot of things going for it.  First, it has a great creative team that includes David F. Walker, Chuck Brown, and Sanford Greene.  It has a strong sense of family, a fun supernatural/monster-hunting angle that's plenty cool, and it takes place during the Roaring '20s so there's a nice period vibe going on too.  All in all it sounds like a pretty solid book.

Oh, and the first issue will also have variant covers from the likes of series artist Sanford Greene and comics legend Mike Mignola.  That's pretty awesome too.  Check them out below.
