Rock out with Wil Sliney’s “Spider-Geddon” #1 variant

Rock out with Wil Sliney’s “Spider-Geddon” #1 variant

Few comic costumes are as iconic as Spider-Man’s.  It’s so busy with so much detailing that it shouldn’t work, yet it absolutely does.  Like the S-shield of Superman and Batman’s chest emblem, show someone the red and blue with all that webbing and they’re bound to know they’re looking at Spidey.

Iconic doesn’t mean you can’t make some tweaks and changes, though, as there have been several memorable variations of Spider-Man’s suit over the decades.  Personally, I’m partial (perhaps against my better judgment) to the Scarlet Spider and 2099 costumes, and I really dig the Ben Reilly suit too.  The appropriately named “Spider-Punk” is quickly working its way into my heart, though, because... I mean, come on.  Spiky Mohawk, torn leather jacket, and a rad electric guitar?  Amazing.

For the upcoming Spider-Geddon #1, artist Wil Sliney has contributed a variant cover featuring said Spider-Punk, so check it out in all its rock ‘n roll glory below.
