Gerry Duggan and Jon McCrea's "Dead Eyes" #3 will feature previously unpublished story material
What are an all-star creative team to do to reward fans who have taken to their new comic series? If they’re Gerry Duggan and John McCrea, why, they’ll reprint some quality classic material with their hit new comic.
But what if they want to do one better? They’ll release previously unpublished bonus material in said series, of course.
And that’s just what the duo plan to do with this December’s third issue of Dead Eyes, their acclaimed new comic from Image Comics. In addition to the main story, the issue will come packaged with some never before seen material as a nice little supplement, perfect for the holiday season.
Check out the details below.
UPCOMING DEAD EYES RELEASE TO FEATURE ALL NEW MATERIAL THIS DECEMBER
Issue #3 by Deadpool writer Gerry Duggan & artist John McCrea will continue vigilante comic book series with never-before-published story content
PORTLAND, Ore. 10/22/2019 — While Dead Eyes #1 and Dead Eyes #2 both featured previously published material, the forthcoming Dead Eyes #3 by artist John McCrea(Mythic, Hitman) and Gerry Duggan (Analog, Deadpool) will showcase all new, never-before-published story content and will hit shelves on Wednesday, December 4 from Image Comics.
Dead Eyes just wanted to put on a mask, steal from the rich, and give to himself. But now his wife and his wheelman are in the hospital, and the mafia is closing in. Dead Eyes #3guest stars laughing gas, an MRI machine, some pointy surgical instruments, some soft tissue of some bad men, and a depressed mafia boss.
Set in the 1990s, “Dead Eyes” was a prolific stick-up man and hoodlum in Boston until he took down one last big score and disappeared. Nobody ever discovered the truth. He retired to be with the love of his life, but now he’s back in the mask to save her. No one—not his wife, the mafia, or the cops—is happy that he’s out of retirement.
Dead Eyes #3 will hit comic shops and digital retailers on December 4.
