DC Comics have released a pretty fun trailer for the upcoming original graphic novel Black Canary: Ignite, which is accompanied by an original song that kind of rips, I’m not gonna lie.

The book is written by acclaimed writer Meg Cabot-- as in “creator of The Princess Diaries” Meg Cabot-- and has some wonderful artwork from Cara McGee. Check out the trailer and details below, and head over the the DC Blog for more information and preview images.

Well, actually, we’re in for a rockin’ trailer and original song from DC’s latest middle grade graphic novel, Black Canary: Ignite.

On October 29, Meg Cabot, the #1 New York Timesbestselling author of The Princess Diaries, makes her graphic novel debut with Black Canary: Ignite. Today, DC is giving fans a sneak peek into the world of middle schooler Dinah Lance in an official trailer that features an original song from the book written by Cabot, and stunning artwork by artist Cara McGee.
