The Fantastic Four are coming to Marvel Legends…again!

I was thrilled when Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Thing figure finally came to Walgreens last year. I had already collected the retailer’s exclusive Reed, Sue, and Johnny, and with the family at last complete, I was content.

UNTIL NOW.

Hasbro just revealed some upcoming products at New York Comic Con, and wouldn’t you know it, we’re getting a wide-release First Family Build-a-Figure series. No word yet on what the BAF will be, but the six regular figures look great:

You may notice that the Four are in their modern costumes, and lest you worried that they would be simple repaints of the Walgreens line, rest assured they are not. Reed’s alternate hands are perhaps the biggest improvement here, as the previous incarnation had swappable stretched arms. Those looked great, but made displaying the figure a tricky proposition, so they were mostly useless but for a few scenarios.

It’s pretty awesome to see Jen Walters’ She-Hulk here, too, as she has often been legal counsel for FF, Inc. And Doom? What can I say?

DOOM.
