The days may be getting shorter, but man it feels like these works are longer than ever. It’s Friday, though, and the start of the weekend, so let’s end things on a high note with a nice new preview from BOOM! Studios.

Strange Skies Over East Berlin is both a Cold War thriller and an insane piece of science-fiction, and this first look at the third issue is possibly the most insane yet. Jeff Loveness, Lisandro Estherren, and Patricio Delpeche are going all in on the sci-fi elements, what with the presence of aliens and everything. It’s gorgeously illustrated and appropriately tense, so check out the details below.

Your First Look at STRANGE SKIES OVER EAST BERLIN #3 From BOOM! Studios

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 8, 2019) – BOOM! Studios revealed today a first look at STRANGE SKIES OVER EAST BERLIN #3, the newest issue of an all-new original series from Jeff Loveness (Judas) and artist Lisandro Estherren (Redneck, The Last Contract), a chilling and intense thriller about an American spy who encounters a terrifying inhuman threat at the heart of the Cold War.

Herring’s cover is blown! Captured by the spyhunter Keiner, Herring must go toe-to-toe in a mental battle with his old nemesis, while outside their interrogation room, the alien monster begins a psychic attack of its own.

STRANGE SKIES OVER EAST BERLIN #3 features main cover art by illustrator Evan Cagle (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and a variant cover by artist Raúl Allén (Wonder Woman).

Strange Skies Over East Berlin #3 will hit comic shops and digital retailers on December 4.
