Secrets and sadness abound in a first look at “Betty & Veronica” #3
The Archie brand has been a comics mainstay for decades, stretching all the way back to 1939 when MLJ Magazines started publishing funny books. Things really took off in 1941, though, when one Archibald Andrews made his comics debut. Since then, Archie and his friends Jughead, Betty, and Veronica have been pop culture staples, starring in countless comics, TV shows, and movies.
While the Archie digest magazines are perhaps the most recognizable format in which to read their adventures (they’re still available on magazine racks and newsstands nationwide, after all), Archie and his pals have had some incredibly successful “traditionally sized” comic series as well. That holds true for Betty and Veronica as much as anyone in the cast of characters, as the romantic rivals and lifelong friends star in their own titular miniseries. Archie have provided a sneak peek at the third issue of Betty & Veronica, so check it out below.
