Dark Horse to publish brand new "Critical Role" content in 2019
There’s no shortage of geek material out there. Whether you like comics, movies, board games, card games, television shows, video games, or any other thing you could possibly think of to geek out over, there’s going to be plenty of content to ingest. Even better, there will be a community of fellow fans that will welcome you so you have friends to geek out over stuff with.
While being a fan of a show, book, or game does not mean you can’t like other forms of geekery as well, it’s still great to see when there are crossovers between various aspects of fandom. Dark Horse are pretty great about blending properties and mediums, and to give you an idea, look no further than their plans for the Critical Role franchise. Throughout 2019, Dark Horse will publish brand new material that ties into the “digital tabletop game,” including an art collection and a new prequel comic series. There’s some top-notch talent involved with each of the projects, too, like Jody Houser, Mateo Scalera, and MSASSYK. Not too shabby, if you ask me.
