LEGO reveal life-size Batman model and mosaic for San Diego Comic-Con

And here it is, chums: LEGO’s final life-size model for Comic-Con. We’ve seen a Sith Trooper from The Rise of Skywalker and an impressive Iron Man, but leave it to Batman to one-up the competition.

For this is not just an amazing-looking life-size model. It’s a model with an accompanying mosaic, the latter of which is based on Nicola Scott’s variant cover for Detective Comics #1000.

Victory is in the preparation, after all.

The model is six-and-a-half-feet tall and weighs 225 pounds, constructed out of 44,051 bricks over the course of 270 hours. The mosaic is a whopping ten feet tall, and is made of 96,768 bricks.

Check them out below, and be on the lookout on our Twitter feed for in-person photos from Comic-Con.
