Tom King, Mitch Gerads, and Doc Shaner to embark on some “Strange Adventures” at DC Comics

Tom King and Mitch Gerad’s highly-anticipated follow-up to their masterpiece Mister Miracle was announced this morning at Comic-Con, and much to my delight… they’re tackling Adam Strange.

The duo will reunite for the twelve-issue maxiseries Strange Adventures, and they’ll be joined on their journey by Doc Shaner. I’ve gone on record as saying that Shaner can draw everything forever for all I care, so yeah, this is doubly exciting.

While plot details are scarce right now, check back for when we hear more from DC. In the meantime, check out the covers from Gerads and Shaner below. Gerads’ cover makes the book look like an intense thriller, with Adam Strange at the center of some sort of slander campaign, while Shaner’s makes it look like a gloriously optimistic outer space adventure. Frankly, I’m down for either one.

Strange Adventures will launch in 2020.
