Rock and roll comes to Riverdale in a first look at “Archie 1955” #1
Archie and his pals discover this newfangled “rock ‘n’ roll” in Archie 1955, the new series from Mark Waid, Brian Augustyn, Tom Grummett, Bob Smith, Glenn Whitmore, and Jack Morelli.
Tom Grummett? Really? Ohhhh yeah.
Archie have provided a first look at the series’ first issue, where you can take in all that Grummetty goodness before the series launches next month. I’m really liking these “alternate reality” Archie books, like Archie 1941 and (kind of) Jughead’s Time Police, and this one looks like another winner. Waid and Augustyn are, of course, great, and having my favorite Robin artist on interiors is a nice bonus, too.
Check out the details and the preview below.
