The Thing's on the clock in preview of Fantastic Four #13

The Thing's on the clock in preview of Fantastic Four #13

I have a confession to make: before #12, I had been taking a break from Fantastic Four. I know, I know, after all of the hype I spewed in the lead-up to last year’s relaunch, I had run out of steam. What Slott was doing just wasn’t gelling with me, and there are too many comics to read in a week as it is. So I’ve been on the sidelines.

But after posting the preview for #12, a very fine “Ben Grimm never gets to have a normal day off” story if ever there was one, I felt the spark again. Fantastic Four #13 comes out this Wednesday, and I’m looking forward to seeing how Aunt Petunia’s favorite nephew gets himself untangled from the beefy, green strings of the Puppet Master this time. I hope you’ll join me, and I hope this arc is a sign of better things to come from Slott and company.
